Kevin McCarthy’s error on the debt ceiling gets exposed by Sean Hannity

Joe Biden persuaded Kevin McCarthy to raise the debt ceiling.

McCarthy tried to paint the conservatives’ capitulation in this conflict as a notable victory.

McCarthy’s argument did not convince Sean Hannity.

In light of the debt ceiling situation, Hannity detailed the several ways McCarthy betrayed the right’s ideals in his agreement with Biden during his program.

McCarthy extends debt limit until 2025, giving Biden major victory.

It is known that Biden has a credit card with an unlimited spending limit that he uses to fund his socialist causes.

Hannity harshly criticized McCarty’s clandestine negotiations and the abrupt disclosure of this agreement to the party members.

McCarthy’s false claim that the agreement entailed actual budget cuts was debunked by Hannity.

“Now, as I outlined last night, this debt ceiling compromise has a lot of critics and chief among them, are the conservatives in the Republican House. That is on the party of Speaker McCarthy. They did make a fundamental mistake, in my opinion, and that is the speaker, in my view, should have kept all members in the loop with the negotiations before anything was agreed to and the anger on the right, at least 29 that I have counted is very palpable. Now, conservatives do hate the lack of real budget cuts,” Hannity stated.

Hannity points out that the initial House of Representatives package included a $1.5 trillion rise in the debt ceiling and substantial expenditure cuts totaling $4.8 trillion.

McCarthy agreed to a plan that called for budget savings that are largely fictitious and unlikely to materialize. as subsequent Congresses might simply repeal them.

McCarthy’s concession on the debt ceiling led to the post-COVID ratification of a trillion-dollar spending plan. This vote also included cash for Joe Biden’s proposal to hire 87,000 additional IRS agents.

“The original plan passed by the Republicans did in fact cut 4.8 trillion over ten years. This one is 2.1 trillion. And yes, it’s the first time they’ll have a lower budget next year than the year prior. But as of now, the federal government’s insane COVID level spending is pretty much here to stay because only 30 billion of the multitrillion dollar COVID relief funds are going to be clawed back and redistributed to other areas of the government. And the cuts to Biden’s army of IRS agents? Well, that cut was minimal at best,” Hannity concluded.

Conservatives are aware that McCarthy betrayed them.

Dan Bishop (R-NC) and Ken Buck (R-CO), two members of the House Freedom Caucus, are putting out a motion to oust McCarthy as speaker of the house.
