According to the Washington Free Beacon, Power Forward Communities received the green energy grant from the EPA in April 2024 as part of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. However, records show that the organization was established only months earlier in late 2023 and had no history of handling funds anywhere close to that magnitude.
