Images of the disgraced cryptocurrency tycoon and Democrat megadonor Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) in an odd setting in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center have just surfaced. These photos, along with an interview with one of SBF’s new friends, were obtained by independent cryptocurrency journalist Tiffany Fong, signaling a significant development following his well publicized imprisonment.
The released images provide the public with their first look inside Bankman-Fried’s prison, showing him with gang members, which is a dramatic contrast to his prior public persona as a bitcoin tycoon.

SBF was described by Inmate G Lock as “skinny as a toothpick” and “strange as s**t,” providing insight into his transition to prison life.
“G Lock” made analogies between Bankman-Fried and the contentious rapper Tekashi69, who is well-known for his collaboration with federal authorities and legal issues. “Sam is more gangster than Tekashi69, Sam Bankman stood on all ten toes. Tekashi ratted,” he stated.
