Former President Donald Trump has ignited a fresh political firestorm by suggesting he might strip comedian Rosie O’Donnell of her U.S. citizenship—a declaration that’s left liberal pundits and politicians fuming while fueling yet another chapter in their long-running feud.
Trump delivered the bombshell message on Saturday via Truth Social, calling out O’Donnell for her ongoing attacks and questioning her loyalty to America after she relocated to Ireland in the wake of the 2024 election.
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Trump wrote. “She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her,” he concluded, adding, “GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
