Blue Collar Comedy Tour legend Ron White waded straight into one of the biggest political battles in Texas during a recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, launching a blistering attack on Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton while speaking favorably about Democrat James Talarico.
White, the cigar-smoking Texas comedian who built a national following alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, did not hold back when the conversation turned to the state’s closely watched U.S. Senate contest.
“That guy’s just too corrupt,” White said. “You know, he’s just a bad egg, and we don’t need him around here.”
