On Thursday, Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida brought these concerns to the forefront with a bombshell revelation on the social media platform X. Luna shared a previously unreleased photo of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old man accused of attempting to assassinate Trump. The photo, reportedly taken by a rally attendee, shows Crooks carrying an AR-15 while walking around a building near the rally. According to Luna, the photo was given to law enforcement officials but had not been made public until now.

“I have just obtained a photo that was taken by an individual at the rally in PA of Crooks with the gun used to shoot at President Trump walking around the building prior to the assassination attempt. This photo was submitted to LEO in PA. To my knowledge, this photo has not been released until now,” Luna wrote.
