U.S. Representative from Florida Anna Paulina Luna spoke about the House Oversight Committee’s continued attempts to hold Adam Schiff, the former chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, responsible for lying about the Trump-Russia probe on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures.
Florida congresswoman sues Schiff for misleading the public about the Trump-Russia probe and demands a $16 million punishment. A recent Durham report showed that the FBI had no proof of the alleged collaboration.
Schiff, though, frequently asserted that he had unique proof of collaboration between Trump and Russian intelligence services while serving as leader of the House Judiciary Committee. “I don’t want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial. But as I’ve said all along, there’s plenty of evidence of collusion,” Congressman from California stated to Meet The Press in 2017.
“I will speak to Adam Schiff. Maria, I have a privilege resolution that I’m bringing to the floor, and we are going to fine that man 16-million-dollars for using his position to lie to the American people, and ultimately push something that not only destroyed our country, ripped us apart and I believe, maybe even permanently damaging foreign relations” Maria Bartiromo of Fox News was told by the new representative. “He is a criminal and Adam Schiff; you will be held accountable.”
She continued by mentioning Schiff’s assertions that he had seen a “smoking gun” that never materialized. “And yet, he was privileged to information that not even I or many of my colleagues would be able to see,” Paulina Luna continued. “He used that position. He absolutely aided and abetted a corrupt FBI into investigating a sitting president.”
Bringing “dishonor to the House of Representatives,” According to Paulina Luna, Schiff “really destroyed the sense of comradery that we had in this country,” I should also mention that the Trump-Russia inquiry cost the tax payers $32 million.
