One of the major initiatives introduced was the “White House summer on extreme heat.” Biden stated, “Later this summer my administration will convene the first-ever White House summer on extreme heat bringing together state, local, tribal and territorial leaders and international partners who are protecting communities and workers from extreme weather.” This move aims to foster collaboration among various levels of government and international partners to tackle extreme weather challenges.
