Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin appears to be taking a page straight out of the political revenge playbook, warning that his party is prepared to go scorched-earth when it regains control of Washington.
Speaking on the progressive podcast Pod Save America, the Maryland Democrat didn’t mince words when he issued what sounded like a thinly veiled threat to Americans who supported former President Donald Trump and his policies.

Raskin made it crystal clear: if Democrats reclaim power, they will have a long memory and zero tolerance for anyone they deem complicit in what he called “fascist chaos.”
“We need to be engaging in far more work of transnational democratic solidarity with the democratic governments and the democratic movements and peoples and parties of the world, to try to prevent the spread of the lawlessness and the fascist chaos that’s been unleashed against us,” Raskin said.
