Seeing an opening, Kamala Harris decided to criticize Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
That choice turned out to be a serious mistake.
The effects of Kamala Harris’ racial attack on Ron DeSantis have been strikingly counterproductive.
Effective education is prioritized by the Ron DeSantis-led administration above the spread of awakened propaganda.
The DeSantis administration and a group of specialists have developed a thorough black history curriculum to address this issue. With the removal of incorrect material like Critical Race Theory and myths about America’s origin on the basis of white supremacy, this curriculum seeks to accurately depict the history of black Americans. By doing this, we work to make sure that history lessons accurately depict the past and steer clear of liberal distortions.
Leftists understand how important it is to shape the past in order to shape the present. They were really miffed by not having the chance to teach youngsters a revisionist history that painted America as a consistently racist country. This plan would have helped the Left achieve its objective of raising a generation of devoted Democrats.
At a Jacksonville event, Harris slammed the new standards for teaching kids erroneous information about the benefits of slavery for black Americans in terms of gaining trade skills.
“And as people who love our country, as patriots, we know that we must remember and teach our full history, even when it is painful. Especially when it is painful. Today there are those in our nation who would prefer to erase, or even rewrite the ugly parts of our past. Those who attempt to teach that enslaved people benefitted from slavery, those who insult us in an attempt to gaslight us, who try to divide our nation with unnecessary debates. Let us not be seduced into believing that somehow we will be better if we forget,” Harris declared.
Joe Biden repeated his steadfast confidence that his claim was untrue.
“At a time when there are those who seek to ban books, bury history, we’re making it clear — crystal, crystal clear. While darkness and denialism can hide much, they erase nothing. They can hide, but they erase nothing. We can’t just choose to learn what we want to know, we have to learn what we should know,” Biden ranted. “We should know! We should know everything about our country: The good, the bad, the truth of who we are as a nation.”

However, after just 24 hours, Biden and Harris’ misleading strategies fell apart.
Florida’s standards, which emphasize the reality that some slaves gained significant skills that were advantageous to their family after achieving freedom, are incorporated into the Advanced Placement (AP) black history course.
“In addition to agricultural work, enslaved people learned specialized trades and worked as painters, carpenters, tailors, musicians, and healers in the North and South. Once free, American Americans used these skills to provide for themselves and others,” the AP course reading.
In a recent interview with ABC News, Dr. William B. Allen, a participant in Florida’s African American History Standards Workgroup, gave a thorough overview of the state’s black history curriculum.
“It is the case that Africans proved resourceful, resilient and adaptive, and were able to develop skills and aptitudes which served to their benefit, both while enslaved and after enslaved,” Allen stated. “It was never said that slavery was beneficial to Africans.”
Regarding Florida’s recently adopted black history curriculum, Kamala Harris misled the public.
In order to further the policies of the Democratic Party, the media knowingly spread this myth.
This clear untruth was swiftly revealed to be wrong, though.
