Albert Watkins, attorney for Capitol rioter Jacob Chansley, shared with Carlson on Monday night that he had never witnessed the calming influence of law enforcement toward his client until seeing the video aired. Watkins was surprised by the evidence that this occurrence wasn’t peaceful since he had previously assumed it was.

The Department of Justice was harshly chastised by the QAnon shaman’s attorney for withholding crucial video evidence from Chansely and his defense team.
“The government knew they knew that Jake had walked around with all of these police officers, they had that video footage. I didn’t get it. It wasn’t disclosed to me. It wasn’t provided to me,” the attorney told Carlson.
“I filed a requisite pleading for it. And whether I did or not, they had a duty, an absolute duty, with zero discretion to provide it to me so that I could share it with my client. I never got it…what’s happened is truly a dagger in the heart of our American justice system,” Watkins added.
