Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has once again turned to MSNBC to attack President Donald Trump, this time spinning a conspiracy theory that would make even the far left blush.
During a sit-down with Jen Psaki — Joe Biden’s former press secretary turned cable host — Pritzker suggested that Trump’s calls to deploy the National Guard to Chicago have nothing to do with crime or illegal immigration. Instead, he accused Trump of plotting to meddle in future elections.
Pritzker actually said Trump wants the National Guard not “to help deal with crime” or “to help ICE arrest illegal aliens,” but because he wants to “set the stage to interfere in future elections.”
This is the same Chicago where bloodshed has become routine, yet the governor claims the real threat is Donald Trump. And naturally, Psaki, ever the loyal Biden ally, nodded along as if this outlandish accusation were gospel truth.
Gaslighting on Crime
What makes Pritzker’s claim even more absurd is that in the same interview, he praised his own record on crime. Yes — he congratulated himself and his fellow Democrat leaders for supposedly reducing crime, even though Chicagoans continue to endure weekend after weekend of violence.
