While Democrats went out of their way to defend Garcia, they said virtually nothing about Morin. That contrast is glaring. They fight for deported criminals, but where’s the compassion for grieving American families?
Trump’s Deportation Policy and Bukele’s Cooperation
President Trump took a bold step by invoking the Alien Enemies Act to fast-track the removal of illegal alien gang members like Garcia. Over 200 gang-affiliated individuals were deported under this order.
Garcia and others were sent to El Salvador’s notorious Terrorism Confinement Center—a maximum-security facility built to hold the worst of the worst. The prison, constructed under the leadership of President Nayib Bukele, has become a symbol of zero tolerance for violent criminals.
Bondi praised Bukele’s hardline approach.
“They are spread rampant throughout our country, and we are going to rid our country of MS-13 and TdA [Tren de Aragua]. We’re just thankful that President Bukele will take them in a prison in El Salvador,” she said.
