Pakistan Turns on U.S. After Praising Trump!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The airstrikes, dubbed “Operation Midnight Hammer,” targeted Iran’s key nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Caine addressed the press with the operation’s details.

President Trump, never one to mince words, followed up with a stark message: “There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.”

Pakistan wasted no time releasing its full condemnation:

“We reiterate that these attacks violate all norms of international law and that Iran has the legitimate right to defend itself under the UN Charter.
The unprecedented escalation of tension and violence, owing to ongoing aggression against Iran is deeply disturbing. Any further escalation of tensions will have severely damaging implications for the region and beyond.”

The statement also urged all parties to respect civilian lives and called for a return to diplomacy:

“Recourse to dialogue, diplomacy, in line with the principles and purposes of the UN Charter remain the only viable pathway to resolve the crises in the region.”

In response to Iran’s outrage, the United Nations Security Council is scheduled to hold an emergency session on Sunday. Tehran formally requested the meeting and submitted a letter denouncing the U.S. airstrikes, further intensifying the global scrutiny.

Here’s where things get even more bizarre: Just two days before condemning the U.S. military action, Pakistan announced plans to nominate President Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.

Yes—seriously.

Islamabad praised Trump’s “diplomatic intervention and pivotal leadership during the recent India-Pakistan crisis,” crediting him with preventing a major war between two nuclear-armed countries.

“At a moment of heightened regional turbulence, President Trump demonstrated great strategic foresight and stellar statesmanship through robust diplomatic engagement with both Islamabad and New Delhi… ultimately securing a ceasefire and averting a broader conflict between the two nuclear states,” said the Pakistani government in their statement.

“This intervention stands as a testament to his role as a genuine peacemaker and his commitment to conflict resolution through dialogue.”

In less than 48 hours, Pakistan has gone from nominating Trump for a peace prize to blasting the U.S. for dragging the Middle East toward what could be a massive regional war. Whether this is diplomatic posturing or a genuine pivot remains to be seen.

But one thing is clear: the powder keg that is the Middle East just got another match lit—and the fallout could involve more than just Iran and the United States.

Stay tuned. This story is far from over.
