Media mogul Oprah Winfrey, a household name for decades due to her influential talk show and brand, sidestepped questions on former President Donald Trump’s alleged landslide election victory. The high-profile personality also shot down rumors that she was compensated $1 million by Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign for her role in supporting Democrats during election season.
Winfrey, who was caught on camera in Santa Barbara as she left a morning workout, was approached by a TMZ reporter who asked her to weigh in on the election buzz and persistent allegations. When asked to comment on Trump’s victory, Winfrey responded curtly, “I’m not talking about the election,” without further elaboration.

The TMZ reporter then pressed Winfrey on claims that she was paid handsomely by Harris’s campaign to host a town hall in September. Winfrey flatly denied the accusation, stating, “Not true. I was paid nothing. Ever.”
