After fatally shooting a suspected shoplifter with a criminal record, a gun store employee in Houston was charged with murder.
Following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Carter’s Country store on South Wilcrest, Terry Evans Jr. was shot and died, and Mark Winger has been identified as the assailant, according to ABC 13 News Houston. This astonishing occurrence occurred in June 2022.

“I can’t describe the pain of losing a son,” Terry Evans Sr. cried as he spoke. “I say to myself, I would have taken the bullet because the pain is unbearable.”
Winger was detained on murder accusations in connection with the passing of Evans, Jr. He was able to obtain his release by paying a sizable $30,000 bail, nevertheless.
