Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed had a rough start to the week.
By Monday afternoon, El-Sayed’s campaign was distancing itself from one of its most recognizable supporters, socialist streamer Hasan Piker, following controversy surrounding remarks directed at a Jewish Michigan state senator.
Then came El-Sayed’s appearance Monday evening on Jesse Watters’ Fox News program.
