With the 2024 election heating up, Democrats are in full crisis mode as they work overtime to bolster Kamala Harris’s candidacy. As the first woman and woman of color to run for President on a major party ticket, Harris faces an uphill battle, particularly when it comes to gaining the support of key voter demographics. This has led to some of the Democratic Party’s most prominent figures stepping in to help, including former President Barack Obama. But Obama’s recent campaign trail misstep may have left Harris fuming—and Republicans cheering.
In a bid to rally the base, particularly among black voters, Obama has been traveling through crucial swing states like Pennsylvania. His primary mission? Reignite excitement within the African American community, which played a key role in his own victories. However, enthusiasm among black voters, particularly black men, has waned for Harris, presenting a serious problem for her campaign.
