NYC Battling Illegals: NYPD’s Dance Video Goes Viral!

The NYPD’s choice to display its dancing squad on a local television station last week sparked a great deal of controversy in political circles.

Founded in 2022, the dancing squad trains twice a week and does “community outreach” performances across the city. This applies to parades and schools alike.

Last Thursday, Autumn-Rain Martinez, the dance team’s president, and a few other members made an appearance on WPIX-11 to talk about the goal of the organization. Martinez stated that the squad not only receives funding from taxpayers but also provides a way for members to “decompress” from the demands of law enforcement and promotes police camaraderie.

Rain-Martinez continued by saying that there are no strict requirements and that anybody may join the NYPD, including guys. “As long as you have the passion, that’s what we care about the most,” Martinez said.

After the conversation, starting at about the 2:45 mark in the video, the dance team gave an embarrassing performance to the song “Club Can’t Handle Me” by rapper Flo Rida.
