An illegal alien with a long history of crime was taken into custody by U.S. immigration authorities on Monday, just moments after showing up for a scheduled check-in with the court system. He is now facing deportation.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem made the announcement in a statement on X, confirming the arrest of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
“Today, ICE law enforcement arrested Kilmar Abrego Garcia and are processing him for deportation,” Noem said.
She also made it clear the Trump administration isn’t backing down when it comes to protecting Americans from violent criminals.
“President Trump is not going to allow this illegal alien, who is an MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, serial domestic abuser, and child predator to terrorize American citizens any longer,” Noem declared.
