Noah’s Ark Investigators Uncover Something EXTRAORDINARY!

Researchers Begin New Investigation at Mysterious Turkish Site

As The Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonald previously reported, Noah’s Ark Scans recently announced that permitted core drilling had begun at the Durupınar formation.

The drilling operation involves collecting samples from locations both inside and outside the outline of the unusual landform. According to the research group, the project represents the first deep, dry, permitted core-drilling program of its kind in the site’s recorded history.

The team is working in partnership with Sivas Cumhuriyet University as part of its ongoing effort to investigate what lies beneath the formation.

One development has already attracted attention.

Researchers reported that a drill bit operating inside the area they believe corresponds to the structure’s potential hull encountered an exceptionally hard layer, causing the bit to break.

The group noted that the material was harder than limestone and suggested that petrified wood, which can be harder than limestone, could be one possible explanation.

However, the composition of the material has not yet been conclusively established. Laboratory analysis and further investigation will be needed to determine precisely what the drill encountered.

A Boat-Shaped Formation That Has Fascinated Researchers for Decades

The Durupınar formation has been the subject of speculation and investigation for generations.

Measuring approximately 157 meters, or 515 feet, in length, the boat-shaped mound was first identified in 1959 by Turkish Army Capt. İlhan Durupınar.

Its unusual appearance has fueled theories that the formation could be associated with Noah’s Ark, the enormous vessel described in the biblical account of the Great Flood.

For many Christians, the possibility that physical evidence of the Ark might one day be uncovered would carry profound religious significance.

Yet the site’s distinctive shape alone cannot establish its origins. Researchers have continued to investigate whether the formation is entirely geological or whether something more unusual lies beneath it.

Now, Noah’s Ark Scans says its latest findings have added another intriguing development to that ongoing investigation.

Radar Specialist Reports Unusual Underground Features

The research group’s preliminary report describes radar scans that allegedly detected an organized structure beneath the mound.

According to the team, the readings appear to reveal features resembling corridors, chambers and passageways rather than a simple, continuous mass of rock.

The scans were conducted by Dr. Khosrow Bakhtar, an engineer who has spent decades developing detection systems for U.S. defense agencies, including the Air Force, Navy and NORAD.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Bakhtar described the readings as unlike anything he had previously encountered during his career.

“Whatever the object is beneath the surface is extraordinary,” he said. “In forty years of this work, I have never seen anything like it.”

He also discussed the possibility that the radar had detected a substantial structure, while acknowledging that its identity remains uncertain.

“It could be a ship. It could be a spaceship,” he continued. “What I can say from the radar is that it is organized, it is structural, and a solid geological mass would not have returned such a strong signature.”

Bakhtar’s comments have added to the excitement surrounding the investigation, particularly among those who believe the Durupınar formation could hold clues to the biblical account.

Nevertheless, radar interpretations are not the same as physical confirmation. The nature of the apparent features must still be established through additional testing.

What Do the Alleged Corridors and Chambers Mean?

Bakhtar further explained why he believes the radar results are unusual.

“Natural ground does not organize itself into corridors, chambers, and hallways,” Dr. Bakhtar explained to The Daily Mail.

He described the technology used in the investigation and the types of underground features it is designed to identify.

“The system was built to separate buried structure from host geology, tunnels, voids, worked materials, discontinuities,” he added. “That is what it is seeing here. A solid geological mass would not have returned this signature.”

Those observations form a central part of the team’s preliminary interpretation. If the radar readings accurately represent physical features beneath the formation, researchers will need to determine whether they reflect an artificial structure, natural geological processes or another explanation.

For now, the scans have not independently demonstrated that the object is a ship, much less Noah’s Ark.

Still, the prospect of discovering a substantial buried structure at a location long associated with the biblical vessel is likely to sustain interest as the investigation progresses.

November 2026 Could Bring More Answers

According to the Daily Mail, the research team expects to complete its full radar survey by November 2026. Additional laboratory results are also anticipated as investigators continue examining material collected from the site.

The next phase could prove particularly important.

The Daily Mail reports that researchers plan to test for animal DNA within the suspected structure. Such testing could provide additional information about the material recovered and help investigators assess claims surrounding the formation.

Any results, however, will need to be carefully evaluated to establish their origin, reliability and significance.

For those who have long hoped that Noah’s Ark might eventually be found, the investigation offers another development to follow closely.

The combination of unusual radar readings, ongoing core drilling and planned laboratory testing has created fresh anticipation surrounding the Turkish site.

But the central question remains unanswered: Is the Durupınar formation connected to the biblical Ark, or does it have a different explanation?

The researchers’ forthcoming results may help clarify what lies beneath the mysterious mound. Until those findings are independently examined and the structure’s identity is established, the possibility of discovering Noah’s Ark remains an intriguing theory rather than a confirmed archaeological breakthrough.
