No One Arrested After Shocking Nancy Guthrie Raid

A heavily armed SWAT team descended on a quiet Tucson neighborhood Friday night. Patrol cars blocked streets. Federal agents fanned out across a home in the Catalina Foothills. For a brief moment, it appeared investigators had finally made a breakthrough in the disturbing disappearance of 84 year old Nancy Guthrie.

By Saturday morning, that hope had cooled.

Authorities confirmed that no arrests were made and no one remains in custody following the operation tied to Guthrie’s suspected abduction.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department, working alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other agencies, executed a search warrant at a residence not far from where Guthrie was last seen on January 31. Neighbors watched as forensic personnel moved in and out of the property late into the evening.

Early reports indicated that at least three individuals were detained during the raid. A fourth person was reportedly stopped in the parking lot of a nearby Culver’s restaurant. FBI agents searched that individual’s vehicle, sealed the trunk, and towed it away shortly after 10 p.m. for further analysis.
