Nick Sortor Drops Truth Bomb on Dems Ignoring Crime

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Sortor, who has spent years on the ground covering Antifa riots, didn’t mince words when Trump asked why blue state governors keep pretending their collapsing cities are thriving.

“To spite you,” Sortor said without hesitation. “To spite you. To spite the administration.”

“That’s simply what it’s about at this point.”

It wasn’t speculation. Sortor was laying out what he’s witnessed firsthand on America’s streets.

Sortor described how ordinary families are paying the price for Democrats’ political games. In Portland, he explained, veterans struggling with PTSD are forced to live in fear every single night.

“You talk to the neighbors that live in the apartments next door to the ICE facility,” Sortor explained. “They are veterans with PTSD that live there, and they’re here all night long, screaming, fireworks being lit off by these rioters, children crying, because they can’t sleep at night, and they’re scared of all the noise outside. And they can’t leave. They got a lease.”

These aren’t wealthy families who can pack up and move. They’re stuck.

“These people aren’t wealthy individuals. And that’s one of the major problems here,” Sortor continued.

Residents have pleaded with Portland officials to simply enforce basic noise ordinances. Every single request has been ignored.

“These people are afraid to come out and speak out, and they’re getting no help from their government at all,” Sortor said. “They’ve been begging for the noise ordinance to be enforced outside of their apartment complex for months now, and the city of Portland has ignored them every single time. The victims are, as I said, they’re afraid, but the governments aren’t doing anything because they want to spite the administration. It’s all political.”

This isn’t just negligence—it’s cruelty disguised as governance.

Sortor also turned his fire toward the corporate media, accusing them of deliberately twisting facts to protect Democrat narratives.

He pointed to a recent example:

He called out news organizations for referring to Kilmar Obrego-Garcia as a “Maryland dad” when the man is actually “a human trafficking MS-13 gang member that’s illegally in the country.”

“The amount of people on the street that I spoke with that thought that he was a U.S. citizen that was being deported to Uganda is dangerous,” Sortor warned.

“These people genuinely believe, based on what comes out of the garbage standing over here, that you guys are deporting U.S. citizens.”

The media’s lies aren’t harmless. By blurring the truth, they’re convincing millions of Americans that enforcing immigration law means deporting citizens. That deception fuels outrage, weakens enforcement, and emboldens violent criminals.

President Trump didn’t hesitate to call out the obvious.

“And the politicians make you feel like you’re foolish, like there’s something wrong,” Trump said. “How could President Trump be saying that about Chicago? And yet, the night before, you see that, you know, 11 people were shot, five people died, and you have them talking about, like, it’s a wonderful situation.”

“They make you feel guilty, and a lot of people don’t get over that. They just don’t get over it. I think they convince the people.”

Trump knows the playbook. Democrats create chaos, gaslight the public, and then smear anyone who dares tell the truth.

This is no longer about policy disagreements. Democrat leaders are choosing to let their citizens suffer rather than admit Trump is right.

Veterans with PTSD in Portland aren’t accidental casualties—they’re victims of calculated political spite.

For those who’ve watched left-wing violence spiral out of control since the 2020 riots, the assassination of Charlie Kirk was the breaking point. This isn’t random chaos. It’s a coordinated political war, and American citizens are paying the price.

Trump’s crackdown on Antifa and leftist extremists isn’t just about restoring law and order—it’s about protecting Americans from politicians who would rather see their own people terrorized than give him credit for defending them.

And that, as Sortor made crystal clear, is far more dangerous than anyone wants to admit.
