New details are surfacing in the shocking case of Hollywood legend Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, who were allegedly killed by their own son, Nick Reiner. The murders have left friends, family, and fans stunned.
On December 14, authorities discovered the bodies of Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, inside their Brentwood residence. Their daughter, Romy, reportedly made the grim discovery and immediately informed police that her brother should be considered a primary suspect.
Within hours, Nick Reiner was taken into custody. He was later formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
According to TMZ, Nick had long struggled with schizophrenia and had been on medication to manage the condition. Sources revealed that three to four weeks before the killings, his doctors adjusted his prescription regimen. This change reportedly destabilized his behavior rather than improving it.
