Just days before oral arguments, two West Virginia girls have stepped forward with firsthand accounts that challenge the narrative surrounding a controversial transgender athlete case. Their stories introduce allegations of harassment, intimidation, and institutional silence that are now impossible to ignore.

The case, scheduled for oral arguments on January 13, places the nation’s highest court at the center of a debate over whether states have the authority to protect female athletes from being forced to compete and share private spaces with biological males.

A Middle School Locker Room Allegation Shakes the Case

One of the girls, Bridgeport High School student Adaleia Cross, has come forward with allegations stemming from her time at Bridgeport Middle School. According to Cross and her family, she was subjected to explicit sexual harassment by a biological male who identified as transgender and was allowed into the girls’ locker room.
