A major revelation has just rocked the Biden White House. Neera Tanden, former Staff Secretary and now Domestic Policy Council Director, admitted under oath that she was authorized to wield the president’s autopen — raising serious concerns about who was actually in charge during Joe Biden’s frequent absences.
On Tuesday, behind closed doors with the House Oversight Committee, Tanden confessed that from October 2021 through May 2023, she had the authority to direct the use of President Biden’s autopen — a device used to automatically sign his name on official documents.
This shocking admission places Tanden at the center of a brewing scandal that many say is about far more than just paperwork. Critics are now openly asking: Was Biden really in command, or has a staff member been pulling the strings from behind the scenes?
House Oversight Chairman James Comer has been tracking what he calls a “coordinated cover-up” of Joe Biden’s mental decline — and now, the autopen is front and center.
“This confirms what we’ve suspected all along,” Comer said, pointing to at least five Biden aides — now including Tanden — who were allegedly involved in decisions while Biden was unavailable or, as many speculate, not mentally fit.
