Vienna, once the proud cultural heart of Austria, is now witnessing a demographic upheaval that many are calling a national emergency in slow motion. According to shocking new figures, Muslim students now make up 41.2% of all pupils in the city’s compulsory education system. That’s not just primary schools—this includes middle, secondary, and vocational institutions too.
The numbers have left many Austrians stunned, with conservative leaders issuing grim warnings about the country’s cultural future.

This startling demographic shift has pushed the long-simmering debate over mass migration and cultural integration into overdrive.
