Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has made it clear she’s not backing down from the political brawl she ignited with President Trump — and instead appears determined to inflame it. During a press event that was supposed to center on Epstein victims and government transparency, Greene turned the spotlight on herself and delivered yet another jab at the man who once championed her.
The press conference, held by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Ro Khanna (D-CA), and MTG, featured several Jeffrey Epstein survivors calling for the public release of long-hidden files tied to Epstein’s international network. The trio is pushing the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” a bipartisan effort to force the Department of Justice to finally disclose the full extent of Epstein’s connections.
Lawmakers expect a vote on the bill today, triggered by a discharge petition from Massie and Khanna that hit the necessary 218 signatures. It follows a similar event the group held in September demanding the same disclosures. That earlier press conference also gained national attention — but today, MTG took things in an entirely different direction.
When Greene stepped up to the microphone, she seemed less focused on the victims behind her and more intent on confronting Trump over his recent criticism. Wasting no time, she claimed Trump unfairly attacked her, saying the former President had labeled her a “traitor.”
