Washington, D.C. — Chaos erupted on Capitol Hill Wednesday as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), chair of the House Oversight Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, torched National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) executives in a blistering hearing. The Republican firebrand didn’t just hold their feet to the fire—she threatened them with prison time.
Greene zeroed in on NPR CEO Katherine Maher, a former head of Wikipedia with a history of radical leftist rhetoric. In a no-holds-barred exchange, Greene blasted Maher’s controversial remarks, citing her past statements in which she labeled President Trump a “deranged racist sociopath” and accused America of being “addicted to white supremacy.”
