Mitt Romney Spills The Tea On Why Fox News Let Tucker Go

Mitt Romney recently revealed the actual reason for Fox News’ unexpected decision to cut ways with Tucker Carlson after keeping it a secret for weeks.

Mitt Romney is actively supporting Joe Biden’s mission to stand up to Russia and support Ukrainian statehood, despite fierce resistance from inside his own party.

Joe Biden has come under fire from Mitt Romney for allegedly taking too long to transfer significant amounts of American money to the disputed Ukrainian administration.

As new polls show growing skepticism toward Joe Biden’s plan, Republican support for an unrestricted approach to enhancing Ukraine’s security is dwindling.

Only 42% of Americans support President Biden’s plan to escalate the war through arms exports, according to a recent survey conducted in March. This reveals a notable gap in public opinion regarding this important issue.

The prominent Fox News personality Tucker Carlson, with his influential 8PM show position, started to influence public opinion away from unreserved support for unlimited war financing for Ukraine, which put establishment Republicans in a difficult position.

Romney made a misleading remark in an interview with The Hill that the conflict with Russia over Ukraine was “one of the greatest demonstrations of good versus evil we’ve seen in our lifetimes.”

Even in the face of Joe Biden’s warnings that a conflict may push us closer to nuclear Armageddon, Mitt Romney has accused Tucker Carlson of employing an enigmatic force to dissuade Republicans from supporting it.

“There have been some that have argued that he was setting foreign policy for the Republican Party, which I find to be bizarre. Certainly not for me,” Romney stated. “To the Primary [Republican] voter, the active participant, the grassroot voter, he’s a person they listen to and has a big influence.”

Carlson’s involvement in the GOP was questioned by Romney, who said “it depends on the issue but I think with regards to Russia and Ukraine he was misguided.”

“It’s really disheartening and disappointing that an intelligent person would take a stance defending people who break into the symbol of democracy here and around the world,” Romney added.

The Fox News host Tucker Carlson has drawn a lot of criticism, but many Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill have been reluctant to openly criticize him.

Many Republicans, unlike Mitt Romney, have opted to abandon their party’s beliefs in an effort to stay relevant.

“It’s a bad day for Vladimir Putin,” Republican Senate staffer said. “This takes one of the biggest critics of Ukraine war in Republican and conservative circles off the table.”

“He wasn’t troubled by whether something was true or not. He was mean, irresponsible, and dangerous,” In a statement to The Hill, a Republican Senator went on the record as saying.
