Migrant Escape After Democrat-Led Chaos!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“It’s about the food…”

Immigration attorney Mustafa Cetin told reporters the incident was sparked by late meal service, which agitated dozens of inmates. “It’s about the food, and some of the detainees were getting aggressive and it turned violent,” Cetin explained. He added that detainees used bedsheets, and that “the wall was not very strong.” His client also reported a gas smell inside the facility at the time of the disturbance.

The idea that such a large-scale breach could occur inside a federal facility has shocked observers — but what’s even more disturbing is what happened next.

Gas in the air and lawlessness on the streets

As the chaos unfolded, Rutgers professor Whitney Strub reported an overwhelming police presence. “We were all coughing at the same time,” he said, referring to what was believed to be some kind of gas released into the air. Photos of the facility and local streets lit up social media as news of the breakout spread.

Just three hours later, things got even worse. Protesters surrounded an SUV trying to exit Delaney Hall, forcing it to turn back inside the facility.

Local news outlet PIX11 reported actually seeing the migrants sprinting across roadways between Turnpike 78 and Delancey Street.

Mayor Baraka blasts the system — after his own role questioned

Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka issued a strongly-worded statement condemning the facility’s handling of detainees. “This entire situation lacks sufficient oversight of every basic detail — including local zoning laws and fundamental constitutional rights,” he said. “We demand immediate answers and clear communication with the GEO Group and the Department of Homeland Security.”

Baraka added, “We must put an end to this chaos and not allow this operation to continue unchecked.”

But critics are pointing out the irony: Baraka himself was at the center of a separate scandal involving the same facility just weeks earlier.

A “congressional oversight visit” or a Democrat-led stunt?

Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver — who joined Baraka at the ICE center on May 9 — now faces a federal indictment for allegedly assaulting officers during what the DOJ called an “attempted arrest.”

The Department of Justice said McIver tried to physically stop federal agents from detaining Mayor Baraka. Prosecutors say she “slammed her forearm” into one officer and seized another by the arm. The indictment includes three charges, two of which carry a maximum sentence of eight years.

“While people are free to express their views… they must not do so in a manner that endangers law enforcement,” said U.S. Attorney Alina Habba in a statement.

McIver’s attorneys are calling it political revenge. But observers are now asking: was her behavior during the May visit a green light for what happened Thursday night?

Democrat interference, private prison problems, and migrants on the loose

Thursday’s events mark a dramatic escalation of tensions surrounding federal immigration enforcement in Democrat-controlled cities. The fact that four individuals — possibly illegal migrants — are now at large is raising serious alarms.

And while left-wing politicians demand more “oversight” of ICE, many Americans are wondering when someone will hold them accountable.

The GEO Group, the private operator of Delaney Hall, has not yet issued a public statement. Meanwhile, federal and local officers continue to hunt for the escapees — with citizens left to wonder how secure America’s detention facilities really are in the hands of radical Democrat leadership.
