Megyn Kelly Exposes the Never-Trumper’s Secret Role

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Trump’s Lost Instincts

Trump was right about Iraq. He was right to campaign on an America First platform that rejected endless Middle East wars and defended American blood and treasure. He was right to promise a foreign policy built on strength rather than nation-building or serving as the world’s unpaid military. Those instincts won him two elections and millions of devoted supporters.

But over the last year, those instincts have been quietly overridden. A network of Washington hawks—many of the same figures who sold America the Iraq War—has nudged Trump toward military action in Iran. Think tanks with deep ties to interventionists, advisers with foreign agendas, and media voices whose loyalty lies abroad rather than at home have worked behind the scenes to reshape U.S. policy.

Mark Levin has been at the forefront, cheering for strikes before a single bomb dropped and labeling every skeptic a traitor or coward. Meanwhile, journalists and commentators like Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene who asked hard questions were branded enemies of MAGA. Eventually, Trump sent a clear message: you are either with Levin—or you are not MAGA.

Megyn Kelly and the MAGA Civil War

Senator Rand Paul hit the point hard: Trump’s “natural instinct not to send troops into the Middle East” was correct. Yet three weeks into a shooting war, American lives are lost, global shipping is disrupted, and financial markets are pricing in a recession. And on Sunday night, Trump spent time defending a former Never-Trumper against Kelly, whose only “crime” was asking whether this war serves U.S. interests.

Kelly—and millions of MAGA voters—did not support Trump to empower war hawks. The original America First promise was simple: no more senseless wars, no more sending young Americans to die for someone else’s agenda. Kelly is holding Trump accountable to that promise, reminding him of the lessons we learned from Iraq.

If the president truly wants to honor the America First movement, he should consider this: the same voices urging him to silence debate today are the ones who sold us Iraq yesterday. And that’s a warning Trump—and all Americans—ignore at their peril.
