The inflow of patients is difficult for overburdened hospitals and healthcare facilities to manage. The capacity of the healthcare system is being exceeded by the rising number of patients seeking care.

In the last year, medical facilities in New York City have treated thousands of unauthorized immigrants. Undocumented immigrants sought medical care during almost 30,000 visits, according to information from New York City Health + Hospitals. Around 300 new infants were born to migrant mothers during this time, with Manhattan’s Bellevue Hospital serving as the principal birthplace and host to one-fourth of all migrant visitors.
“This has been the hardest work I’ve ever done,” stated Dr. Ted Long, a senior vice president for New York City Health + Hospitals who assists in managing the city’s response to the migrants’ health needs…
Patients, especially Americans experiencing addiction and eviction, may have to wait months for non-urgent legal advice due to lengthy wait periods and potential referrals to other care providers.
“I’m sure if you talk to anybody else in the city who’s doing this work, there are waiting lists and people are turning people away or referring them to other places,” Retkin said. “If you asked me, ‘Do we need more resources for legal services?’ I would say absolutely, yes.”

The system as a whole is overloaded. The migrants are eating up every resource in the city, whether it be for housing, food, clothes, healthcare, or anything else. And all of it is being paid for by the taxpayers, either directly or indirectly. Few individuals have the heart to turn away the migrants since most Americans are kind and want to assist if they can. But the absurdity of this has long ago faded.
Someone needs to develop a backbone and take up Joe Biden’s duties. The administration is aware that the great majority of these immigrants are ineligible for asylum.
Everything that has occurred is all Biden’s fault. He has to be responsible for everything.
