Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is now living under some of the tightest protection the federal prison system can offer — despite being in a minimum-security facility.
According to a bombshell report from The New York Sun, special operations and counterterrorism units have been deployed to her Texas prison following a surge of death threats targeting the disgraced socialite.
The paper reported:
“There have been death threats received,” a source close to the investigation tells the Sun. “They are focused on the outside looking in, as opposed to the happenings inside the camp.”
Maxwell, once Jeffrey Epstein’s closest associate, was quietly moved to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas. Since her arrival, members of the Bureau of Prisons’ Special Operations Response Team have been stationed at the entrance and perimeter of the facility — watching for any outside danger that might target her.
