Ghislaine Maxwell, the disgraced socialite and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, has been quietly relocated from her Florida prison cell to a federal facility in Texas. The move comes as she pushes for a shocking deal: immunity in exchange for testifying before Congress about Epstein’s sordid empire.
Convicted in 2021 on sex trafficking charges tied to a disturbing scheme with Epstein to abuse minors, Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence. Despite the conviction, she remains defiant—actively appealing her case and now offering to “testify openly and honestly” before lawmakers if granted clemency.
But Congress isn’t playing ball.
Earlier this week, Maxwell’s legal team floated the immunity offer in a letter to the House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer (R-KY). The message was clear: If immunity and certain conditions weren’t met, Maxwell would invoke her Fifth Amendment rights and refuse to speak.
