To their approval, members of the Uniparty cheered him on throughout his 25-minute speech.
Nearly all members of Congress expressed support for initiatives to expand military financing into prospective combat zones despite the rising threat of a worldwide conflict. Those in attendance at Zelensky’s speech cheered this passionate response, displaying a cohesive resolve in the face of escalating global conflict.

Representatives Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz steadfastly opposed the Zelensky act despite the majority of Congress backing what they called a “dog and pony show.” According to a tweet from Newsweek, neither Boebert nor Gaetz succumbed to peer pressure and instead decided not to applaud.

The late Arizona senator John McCain’s daughter, Meghan McCain, voiced her unhappiness at the news, which had outraged many in the establishment. “Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz are an embarrassment. Have some respect for the man who stands in front of you and get off your phones.”
McCain’s appeal was rejected by the majority of individuals, who responded with witty comments.

President Zelenskyy’s speech to Congress and my answer
Boebert stated, as heard on the video:
“Hey everyone, I just finished attending the address by President Solinsky. And we’re gonna have votes here at the capitol for the next four hours or so. Here’s what was clear from tonight. The people of Ukraine are suffering. The war is deadly and horrific and the carnage has not stopped.
“Sadly, what I didn’t hear tonight was a clear explanation of where the first $50 billion we sent to support their efforts went until Congress receives a full audit on where our money has already gone. I will not support sending additional money to this war. President Solinsky is working to protect his country’s border and its people I get it. I really just wish our Commander in Chief would do the same right here at home and secure our southern border and protect our people.”
Rep. Boebert’s video was retweeted by Gaetz with the remark. “Well said!”
Recent tweets from a few prominent Republican lawmakers have sparked a lot of debate on both sides of the aisle. While some on the left and in the Uniparty expressed horror at the proposal, many Republicans were pleased to see real opposition to following the “current thing” thinking and prioritizing American interests above those of any other nation.
