Massive Lies Exposed at ABC Debate!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

On the issue of immigration, moderator David Muir falsely claimed that Trump “killed” a bill that had already been passed through Senate committees. According to Muir, the bill was designed to reform immigration, but the reality was far different. The legislation, which Trump opposed, would have allowed up to 10,000 illegal aliens to enter the U.S. daily. In addition, it provided funding to various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and lawyers to expedite asylum claims while also accelerating green card handouts. It wasn’t just about immigration, though. The bill also funneled hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid to countries like Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, among others.

Muir’s portrayal of the situation made it seem as though Trump had blocked a bipartisan effort to secure the border. In reality, the legislation was criticized for only capping illegal immigration at levels that have consistently broken records over the past few years. These falsehoods were presented without challenge, leading to a one-sided narrative against Trump.

The debate moderators also touched on a controversial story circulating about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio. Trump mentioned reports that these illegal aliens had been killing and eating local pets, a claim dismissed by Muir, who stated there were no police reports verifying such incidents. However, several local residents have expressed concern and urged officials to investigate the matter. While the local police have not yet confirmed any reports, various accounts from residents and emerging reports have raised legitimate concerns that the moderators refused to acknowledge.

One of the more striking features of the debate was the stark difference in how fact checks were applied. While Trump was repeatedly interrupted and cut off, Harris was given a free pass on several of her claims. For instance, when she referenced the debunked claim that Trump called Neo-Nazis “very fine people” following the Charlottesville rally, neither moderator corrected her. This particular lie has been discredited by multiple fact-checking organizations, yet Harris was allowed to state it without any pushback.

In addition to this, the moderators neglected to challenge Harris on her support for a fracking ban or providing healthcare to illegal immigrants—stances that have drawn considerable criticism from both sides of the aisle. The uneven treatment was apparent as Harris sailed through the debate without the intense scrutiny that Trump faced.

Tuesday’s debate raised concerns about the objectivity of the moderators, with Trump being repeatedly interrupted and fact-checked, often inaccurately. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris was allowed to make several false claims without challenge. The stark contrast in how the two candidates were treated did not go unnoticed by viewers, fueling criticisms of media bias in political discourse.

As the election season heats up, it’s crucial for the American public to have honest and transparent debates where all candidates are held to the same standards. The moderators’ actions in this debate, however, may have undermined that very goal.

  1. One of the many lies that Harris told was that there were no American forces now were engaged in combat—at the same time that American forces conducted a raid on a weapons factory in Iraq.

Another lie Harris told was that crime under the Biden-Harris regime has gone down, when in fact it has increased.
