Republican activist Scott Presler is once again making headlines — this time by packing a rally in the heart of deep-blue New Jersey over the weekend. Hundreds of energized voters turned out for Presler’s “get out the vote” event, proving that the Garden State might not be as unwinnable for conservatives as Democrats would like to believe.
The event marks another push in Presler’s nationwide campaign to “flip it red,” and the momentum is building fast. What was once considered solid Democrat territory has suddenly become one of the most closely watched battlegrounds of this off-year election cycle. With a governor’s race on the horizon, Republicans are betting big that the tide is turning in their favor.
Presler reminded voters that New Jersey’s political future is far from decided. “To anyone who thinks that New Jersey is not winnable this November, I want to remind you that in 2021, that election was decided by 84,000 votes,” Presler told Fox News in a Zoom interview. “Six hundred thousand Republicans did not vote in that election. That election was winnable. Did you know that there are 250,000 gun owners in New Jersey that are not registered to vote? If simply every Second Amendment supporter got registered and voted, we would flip New Jersey from blue to red.”
