Fox News host Mark Levin stunned conservatives across the country with a fiery Memorial Day message that delivered one of the harshest rebukes yet of former President Donald Trump’s foreign policy approach.
Levin, long known as a stalwart Trump ally, veered off course in a blistering social media post accusing Trump’s diplomatic efforts with Iran of resembling the pre-WWII appeasement of Adolf Hitler. The conservative talk show host didn’t mince words, drawing a direct comparison between Trump’s peace efforts and historic blunders that led to global catastrophe.
“We must also reject agreements with foreign regimes and groups that seek our destruction and endanger the very existence of our nation and future generations of Americans,” Levin warned. “Appeasement and self-delusion have cost our nation hundreds of thousands of young lives in wars we hoped to avoid, especially in the last century in the lead up to WWII.”
While Trump’s America First foreign policy earned widespread praise for avoiding costly entanglements overseas, particularly in the Middle East, Levin has grown increasingly vocal in demanding a hardline military stance—especially against Iran.
