Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) has gone public with disturbing revelations about a federal surveillance program that allegedly singled out conservatives for political reasons. The controversial initiative — known as Quiet Skies — was recently shut down, but not before ensnaring multiple Republican lawmakers.
A Republican Targeted by Biden’s Bureaucracy
In a recent interview, Hamadeh admitted he discovered that he himself was one of three Republican officials secretly flagged by the program.
“It makes you question what the Biden administration, who they were focusing on, and who they were targeting specifically,” Hamadeh warned.
The Arizona lawmaker stressed that the program took off in the heated aftermath of the 2020 election, a period when conservatives were increasingly branded as “threats” by the Left. Instead of targeting real dangers, he said, Biden’s government used taxpayer dollars to watch political opponents.
