Letitia James Stunned – Judge Orders DOJ to Surrender Records!

A Clinton-appointed federal judge has just shaken Washington’s legal establishment with a stunning order that could throw two of the Biden administration’s most high-profile prosecutions into chaos.

Judge Cameron McGowan Currie of the U.S. District Court in South Carolina has directed the Department of Justice (DOJ) to hand over every internal record connected to U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan’s involvement in the criminal cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Currie issued the order Tuesday, responding to urgent motions from defense lawyers in both cases. According to the directive, the DOJ must submit all materials — including grand jury documents — detailing Halligan’s role by 5:00 p.m. on November 3. However, these files will not be shared with defense teams or the public. Instead, the review will happen privately, behind closed doors, inside Judge Currie’s chambers at the Matthew J. Perry U.S. Courthouse in Columbia, South Carolina.

The development follows Letitia James’ recent move to dismiss the case against her, which stems from allegations of misusing both federal and charitable funds. James, indicted last week in Norfolk, Virginia, claims that Halligan’s appointment as Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia was unconstitutional and violated federal law under 28 U.S.C. § 546.
