The news was first reported by Reuters:
From the second quarter of last year to the end of the June quarter, Wells Fargo’s employment shrank by 9,840 workers.
The bank has reduced the scale of its mortgage division, which has led to layoffs.
Wells Fargo increased credit loss allowances by $949 million in the June quarter as a precaution against potential office loan losses.
E.J. Antoni, an economist, reports: “Bank deposits tumbled $70B last week to the lowest level since mid-May; small banks had biggest deposit drain since banking crisis in Mar; deposit level at small banks lowest since Jul, level at large banks lowest since Apr ’21; Treasury borrowing sucking out all the oxygen.”

Michael Santomassimo, the chief financial officer of Wells Fargo, was quoted by The Charlotte Observer as saying:
“We continue to believe we’ve got a lot more to do to make the company as efficient as it should be.”

No way should you spend your life for your employer or your work!

The fact that we can all connect to the underlying reality is what makes comedy amusing.
So this is when it truly gets personal.
It wasn’t until I was in my 40s that I realized that.
I wish I had known about it sooner.
And I’m telling you this in the hopes that I might help YOU learn it sooner.

not simply spending 40, 50, or 60 hours a week shuffling paperwork into folders in a beige office.
No.
I was finally pursuing my calling as defined by God…Additionally, I was simultaneously influencing the world (in my own tiny way).
I’m not sure how to explain it to you if you’ve never been in that situation, but it’s wonderful.
You no longer require coffee or additional motivation to get through the day.
When you’re living out YOUR mission, all of a sudden “work” doesn’t feel like labor because you have so much natural energy.
You go from anxious for 5:00 to arrive so you can go to wondering, “Where did that day go, I could use another 12 hours!”
They worry that I’ll “burn out” since they constantly ask me how I do so much around here.
Nothing could be more unlike from the truth.
As my friend Christopher Greene once said, “I’d much rather BURN out than RUST out.”
Think about that for a moment.
I really produced this video because I am so convinced about this and think I can genuinely help many readers.
