For years, progressives blasted anyone who suggested professional athletes should avoid politics. When Fox News host Laura Ingraham famously told LeBron James to “shut up and dribble,” the phrase became a rallying cry for those insisting athletes had every right to weigh in on public affairs.
Now, Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma is finding himself on the receiving end of the very same criticism after taking aim at New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
The reaction has many conservatives pointing to what they see as a glaring double standard.
