Democrats have found a new hill to fake outrage on — defending activist judges from public criticism. But the selective memory on display is as predictable as it is pathetic.
This week, liberal lawmakers lashed out after President Trump criticized U.S. District Judge James Boasberg for halting deportation flights of illegal immigrants tied to violent gangs like Tren de Aragua. In classic activist fashion, Boasberg accused Trump’s legal team of acting “in bad faith” and called their defense “pretty sketchy.”

Naturally, Trump didn’t sit quietly. He blasted Boasberg on social media, labeling him an “activist” and calling for his impeachment. The left, of course, clutched their pearls.
According to Politico, this back-and-forth sparked renewed Democrat angst during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on universal injunctions titled “Rule by District Judges II” — yes, the sequel we never asked for.
