Kash Patel Just Hit a Milestone Criminals Fear

Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel says the agency’s nationwide violent crime initiative has reached a major benchmark, with more than 1,500 violent offenders already taken off the streets as Operation Summer Heat 2.0 reaches its halfway point.

The milestone comes after Patel touted last year’s operation as one of the bureau’s largest coordinated anti-crime efforts in recent memory. Now, with the second phase underway, he says every FBI field office in the country has been mobilized in an aggressive push targeting violent criminals, drug traffickers, and child predators.

Unlike localized enforcement campaigns that focus on only a handful of cities, Summer Heat 2.0 is being carried out across the nation at the same time. Patel said all 56 FBI field offices are participating in the coordinated effort, making it one of the bureau’s most expansive crime-fighting operations.
