Kamala’s ‘Subway Takes’ Disaster Buried!

Vice President Kamala Harris recently found herself at the center of a media gaffe, following an unreleased interview that went south before it even aired. According to a report by The New York Times, Harris’s appearance on “Subway Takes”—a popular social media show where celebrities share divisive opinions—was abandoned due to a sequence of blunders, confusion, and awkward topics that left the host baffled.

Kareem Rahma, the show’s host, was initially told that Harris would defend an unusual stance against “taking off shoes on airplanes.” However, moments before the cameras rolled, Rahma was informed that Harris would instead argue the bizarre claim that “bacon is a spice.”

For Rahma, a practicing Muslim who abstains from pork in adherence to his faith, the sudden topic shift was problematic. Rahma shared, “I don’t know,” before Harris replied, “Think about it, it’s pure flavor.” According to The New York Times, Rahma was visibly taken aback and halted the interview to clarify the direction of their conversation. Harris reportedly attempted to salvage the interview by sharing her appreciation for anchovies on pizza. “Well, I’m 100 percent unsure on both of those,” Rahma responded dryly, seemingly deflated by the course of the conversation.
