An internet feud broke out between SNL alum Jimmy Kimmel and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The internet is the ultimate recorder of all records, but Kimmel’s passionate theatrics prevented him from realizing that their interaction was being observed by everyone on the planet. Thankfully, comedian Rob Schneider was around to provide him with a dose of reality.
Following Rodgers’ claim, made during an interview with ESPN’s Pat McAfee, that Kimmel might be listed among the people associated with the documents that connect well-known individuals to serial sex offender and child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, a furious Kimmel re-posted the interview to X, accusing the NY Jets quarterback of putting his family “in danger” and threatening legal action.

He composed,
“Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
Comedian Rob Schnieder didn’t think twice to criticize Jimmy Kimmel for his divisive remarks over Americans’ opposition to MRNA vaccination laws. Schneider brought up a startling speech by Kimmel in which he advocated for the denial of acute care to unvaccinated people and their eventual death. This caught the attention of the ‘X’ community, who exposed the comedian’s own questionable comment.
Schneider wrote, “You, @jimmykimmel asking for hospitals to NOT treat unvaccinated patients and let them die in hospital corridors was dangerous, wrong and shameful and fed into people being fired, demonized and ostracized. And YOU NEVER APOLOGIZED.”
Schneider was by no means the only well-known person to criticize Kimmel’s hysteria and arrogance. The opinion of award-winning cartoonist George Alexopoulos was “I’m sure it was just a joke, wheezy. Remember that time you joked about refusing medical service to half the country for refusing to take an experimental vaccine that’s now been proven to cause circulatory trauma and heart attacks, though?”
Kimmel has a tendency to attack Rodgers with what might be kindly described as his “comedy,” as Chief Nerd noted in the comments. As Chief Nerd put it in writing, “You spent YEARS peddling libelous accusations against @AaronRodgers12 like the one below. I hope he returns the favor and sues the shit out of you for defamation.”

Renowned pundit Dom Lucre called Rodgers “a GOAT” in response to Kimmel’s description of him, adding, “you a SHEEP.”
Even less forgiving were several who said that Kimmel “doth protest too much” and that his response may be a sign that he was worried about his name being associated with Epstein.
On Wednesday, MSNBC referred to ESPN broadcaster Pat McAfee’s statement as a “weak apology,” adding “I can see exactly why Jimmy Kimmel felt the way he felt, especially with his position,” McAfee said. “But I think Aaron was just trying to talk s—. Now, did it go too far? … Jimmy Kimmel certainly said that was the case.”
He included the following caption with the video that he uploaded on X: “We like our show to be an uplifting one.”
In response to McAfee’s suggestion, one commenter said, “Ah so Disney and ESPN clearly sat down with you and made you come out and apologize. Embarrassing.”
