Just In: Kari Lake STUNS with October Surprise!

In a shocking twist in the race for Arizona’s Senate seat, a court ruling has revealed previously sealed divorce records of Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), Kari Lake’s opponent. The Arizona Supreme Court’s decision to unseal the records comes at a critical time, with the Senate race heating up. The Washington Free Beacon, after a 10-month legal battle, was successful in gaining access to the documents, despite Gallego’s repeated attempts to keep them private.

Rep. Gallego, who filed for divorce from his wife Kate Gallego in 2016, had made significant efforts to keep the details of their separation hidden from the public. At the time, Gallego had petitioned the court to seal the records, citing the delicate nature of the situation. His memo to the court stated that Kate had “not yet been served” with divorce papers and that her lawyer had “entered an appearance” even though this had not happened yet. The memo also highlighted that Kate was “likely to give birth any day,” adding another layer of sensitivity to the case.

The official divorce petition stated that the couple’s marriage was “irretrievably broken,” with “no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.” However, Kate Gallego appeared to be blindsided by her husband’s actions. In her response to the court in February 2017, she stated that she was “without knowledge of information sufficient to form a belief” about Ruben’s claims that their marriage was beyond repair. She directly disputed his assertions.
