In a shocking escalation of lawlessness under the Biden administration, the Justice Department has announced a wave of arrests in response to a series of brutal attacks targeting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The uptick in violence against federal officers is raising serious concerns about the government’s ability—or willingness—to restore law and order in the face of mounting chaos.
Federal officials confirmed that a suspect who allegedly assaulted ICE agents during an immigration enforcement operation in Los Angeles has been taken into custody. Gregory K. Bovino, Commander of Operation At Large California and Chief of the El Centro Border Patrol Sector, confirmed the arrest late Friday.
“This U.S. citizen is accused of assaulting a federal agent by spitting on him during an immigration arrest under Operation at Large. Our agents swiftly served him a warrant in Los Angeles,” Bovino said in a post on X.
