Judge Accuses Trump of Deporting 2-Year-Old!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The mother, an illegal immigrant, was initially released under the Biden-era “Intensive Supervision Appearance Program” after being freed from ICE custody in 2021. However, when she later showed up for a scheduled meeting with immigration authorities, ICE agents arrested her once again, executing a lawful removal order.

The mother explicitly requested that her daughters, including the 2-year-old U.S. citizen, accompany her back to Honduras. In fact, the DOJ presented a letter — written in Spanish — where the mother clearly stated, “I will take my daughter with me to Honduras.” The Trump administration didn’t “deport” an American citizen; they honored the mother’s written request to have her children travel with her.

What’s more, the government even covered the transportation costs to ensure the family could stay together, rather than separate the mother from her children — a decision that liberals and media outlets have often claimed to support.

Nonetheless, Judge Doughty appeared skeptical of the process, noting that the government’s attempt to get confirmation mid-flight was less than ideal. In his court order, he wrote that the hearing scheduled for May 16 was “In the interest of dispelling our strong suspicion that the Government just deported a U.S. citizen with no meaningful process.”

Critics are now asking a fair question: does Judge Doughty prefer that American citizen children be ripped away from their mothers during deportation proceedings? The Biden administration and left-wing activists have long insisted that “family separation” is cruel — yet in this case, it seems even keeping the family unit intact draws outrage.

Attorneys for the family argued that the 2-year-old’s constitutional rights were violated, claiming that a U.S. citizen cannot simply be removed from the country without due process. However, immigration experts note that minors traveling with deported parents are not, themselves, being legally deported — they are simply accompanying their guardian by request.

It’s also important to note: the little girl retains full American citizenship. She can return to the United States at any time without issue. There is no lifetime ban, no permanent removal order against her.

The sequence of events raised eyebrows when it was revealed that ICE officials called the court while the deportation flight was already in the air. By the time they reported back roughly 45 minutes later, mother and daughters had already arrived in Honduras.

While some are trying to spin this case into another “Orange Man Bad” headline, the facts make it clear: the Trump administration was ensuring family unity, honoring the mother’s wishes, and respecting the rights of the child — not deporting U.S. citizens as the media so hysterically claims.

Another day, another manufactured controversy.
